Calexico
Calexico, a mix between the names "California" and "Mexico", is a subtropical desert region in Imperial Valley, CA. It's closely connected to the city of Mexicali which sits directly opposite Calexico on the Mexican side of the border. Its Spanish heritage is apparent in the beautiful, historic architecture.
